katz is a brand-new comic, making his way across the new york open mic scene.

The combined efforts of Comedy Central, HBO, and Netflix couldn't satiate the need for stand-up that lived within Katz. So he moved to the NYC area to gain more access to live shows. Unfortunately, even those drastic measures weren't enough to quench the aching hole of laughter, longing to be filled. 

Katz decided the only way to get more of it was to actually immerse himself into it. The NY Comedy Festival ignited a flame that he never knew existed, propelling Katz to take a week long Intro to Stand-Up course through Second City.

From there, he found the way to Gotham Comedy Club & Jim Mendrinos' tutelage. Jim fueled the desire to embark on this journey. While his first public performance didn't go as triumphantly as intended. It did reinforce the hunger to live on stage.

Next, Veronica Mosey's class at the Comedy Cellar was on deck to help take Katz to the next level. After, two solid showcases at the Village Underground, it became clear that there was no turning back.

Knowing the path will be long,  Katz will continue on this adventure... until... well with this life, there is no end only new bits to develop.
